About Us

Lynn
I was born on the island of Trinidad and grew up dancing to soca and calypso music, and exploring the hills and valleys of my rugged island. I am the author of eight children’s books set in the Caribbean. I have lived on many Caribbean islands, including Trinidad, St. Thomas, Water Island, Dominican Republic and now I make my home on the lovely Carriacou, which is one of three islands that comprise the nation of Grenada. I have sailed up and down the Grenadine Islands, kayaked throughout the British Virgin Islands, surfed the north coast of the Dominican Republic, and hiked Puerto Rico’s El Yunque rainforest, Dominican Republic’s Pico Duarte (highest peak in the Caribbean basin) and St. Vincent’s La Soufriere volcano. I have also experienced the luxury of those famous all-inclusive resorts, like the spa-tacular “La Source” in Grenada, the heady Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica and the jet-setter famous Caso de Campo in the Dominican Republic. I am the Green Guana adventurer. I am ready and able to go where no on has gone before . . . to plan the ideal vacation for our clients!

I was born on the island of Carriacou. I have lived in the Caribbean all my life and am what everyone calls a real “island mon!” I can dive for lobster, kill a goat for a cook out, clear hiking trails with my machete, deliver up perfectly sweet coconuts, and cook a great “oil down.” You will get the practical, and always “Mars” perspective from me. My main role in Green Guana Vacation Planners is Web Master, photographer and voice of reason. I even worked as a travel agent for several years before becoming a web site designer. I explore the rainforests and waterfalls with Lynn to make sure she does not fall off any cliffs or sink into any mud holes. Even though Lynn is an adventurer extraordinaire, she is the pickiest person I know. So, for every hotel, airline, or tour we have tried, Lynn has insisted on getting all the nitty gritty details just right. Together, Lynn and I possess unique information and insights about our Caribbean islands that we hope to pass on to you.
